Great Ocean Road Deluxe Tour Itinerary
The Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s most iconic scenic drives, stretching over 240 km (151 mi) along the country’s southern coast. This breathtaking route winds past sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, and lush rainforests, with must-see highlights like the famous 12 Apostles.
We’ll start our day by boarding a comfortable coach and heading towards the Great Ocean Road, ready to take in stunning views and beautiful scenery.
Our first stop will be a quick break for morning tea, where you can enjoy some classic Australian snacks. Afterwards, we’ll visit Memorial Arch, the official gateway to the Great Ocean Road—a perfect spot for photos!
We’ll then drive along the coast, passing beachside towns before reaching Apollo Bay. Enjoy some free time to grab lunch (at your own expense) and explore this picturesque town.
After lunch, we will head to Melba Gully for a peaceful rainforest walk to the cascades. Before jumping back in the bus and travelling through the Otway National Park. Along the way, your tour guide will share fascinating history, facts, and details about Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road.
We will then arrive at the Magnificent 12 Apostles, where you will have free time to explore the many lookout points! Make sure to bring your camera and snap some pictures of these amazing limestone rock formations.
Then we’ll travel along the shipwreck coast to Loch Ard Gorge, where you can walk the cliff paths to view the rugged inlet, the Razorback, and Archway.
Board the bus for the journey back to Melbourne, making a quick rest stop along the way before the tour comes to an end.
