Apollo Bay Backpackers is a small home away from home as you’re travelling through the Great Ocean Road. Apollo Bay is a perfect town to stay in for a couple of days, or even just a day while you recharge.

Room options

Apollo Bay Backpackers is a retro beach house that has two room options available. There is a five bed mixed dorm and a six bed mixed dorm.

Inside the house, you’ll share the living room with the sofas and dining table. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen where you can prep and cook all your meals. The bathroom has a shower and enough space where you can get ready for the day.

There is also free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, luggage storage, and a BBQ.

There is also a small campsite for those who have a tent or a van instead. You can still use all the facilities inside.

What’s nearby?

Just a 10 minute walk away and you’ll be at one of the most beautiful beaches on the Great Ocean Road. You can swim at the beach, go for a surf, or explore Apollo Bay. The town is known for its delicious seafood, or you can enjoy the sea view at one of the many restaurants or cafes.

Just over an hour’s drive away is the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. Along the way, you can check out the Otway and do some hiking.
