How far is the 12 Apostles from Hopetoun Falls?

Hopetoun Falls is one of the many beautiful waterfalls found near the Great Ocean Road. Another popular attraction on the Great Ocean Road is the iconic 12 Apostles. So, how long is the drive between the two? It takes about an hour to an hour and a half to drive between Hopetoun Falls and the 12 Apostles.

About Hopetoun Falls

Hopetoun Falls is located inland just off the Great Ocean Road. If you decide to drive the Great Ocean Road one way and take the inland road on the way back, be sure to check out this waterfall.

The hike to the waterfall lookout is about a 20-metre walk from the parking lot. If you want to get closer to the waterfall, you can visit the lower platform. This walk is about a 1-kilometre return and takes around half an hour to complete.

Though it is a short hike to see this waterfall, keep in mind that it may still be difficult. The descent can be a bit steep, meaning that climbing back up the hiking path may take some extra effort.

The drive between Hopetoun Falls and the 12 Apostles is very scenic. You will pass through small Victorian villages and the Great Otway National Park while driving between the two locations.
